Went upstate this weekend to film part of a doc my good friend Mike is directing this summer about acid rain in the Adirondacks. We shot some amazing footage including this beautiful sunrise on our way up to the wilderness. Mike’s shooting with the EX-1. We also had a couple of 5DMk2s and Mike’s fun little Go Pro HD Hero which shoots some neat fisheye and underwater stuff.  All in all, an amazing weekend.

A screen from My Heart is Your Pinata which we are shooting on the Sony EX-1 with a Letus Ultimate adaptor and Zeiss ZF lenses. This scene was fun; all lit with a 200w DigiMole sun gun. Big thanks to my brilliant gaffer Kevin Bacon for some pretty stealthy work recharging our battery belts on the fly. And, yes, that’s blood.
